Jackets and coats
If there’s the perfect time to purchase a new dog coat, their birthday is exactly it! Whether it’s rain or shine, most dogs need a dog coat on during walks to keep any rain or dirt off their own fur. It’s important that they feel warm and cosy underneath but also feel free enough to run around in on their daily walks.
A fleece dog jumper
For dogs with shorter fur and ones who love nothing more than being cosy, a fleecy dog jumper is a necessity, especially if their current one has seen better days. A wax dog coat
If you’re looking for a coat that’s a bit more durable, a waterproof wax coat is a great alternative. This style is a little more loose-fitting than a fleece and doesn’t include leg holes. Instead, it is fastened under the neck and body to allow your dog to move even more freely when out walking. The corduroy collar can be popped up to give extra protection to their neck, especially on a blustery day. The inner soft brushed cotton lining is extremely warm, making a wax coat the ideal dog coat for winter walks.
The 100% wax cotton used in our dog coats is exactly the same as our human wax jackets so you know it’s made to last and easy to clean but does need some cleaning and upkeep. Always give your dog’s wax coat a quick wipe down after every walk so any excess dirt or mud is removed straight away.
A hybrid quilted dog jumper
For dogs that are prone to getting cold, whether they have short fur or are getting older, a hybrid dog jumper is a great option. They’re padded in the body but with fleece sleeves and neck so you know they’ll be warm underneath. Just like an adult gilet, quilted clothing is a perfect option for just keeping the chill off, especially on early morning walks.
Once again, there is a full zip on the back and a Velcro fastening on the back of the neck to keep it secure.
