Our Balmoral show team mounted up and caught the overnight ferry from Liverpool to Belfast, they enjoyed a few cheeky beverages for Ed's birthday which got them into the Irish spirit as they crossed the sea.
Upon waking up, they endured some less than desirable sausages in the "truckers lounge", although they described the bacon as “top shelf!”
The wind has been endlessly battering them. Ian bravely confronted the elements earning himself the honourable title “Sledge” (Super Legend) for his impressive work pinning the tent down. Bearing in mind they're on hard solid ground, not mud.
This morning’s update:
“We're ready to roll, with a HUGE sale area at the back of the stand and all of your Rydale favourites up front!
For ladies, our 2 for £18 shirts are a must as well as the crowd pleasing V neck Cable knits. We’ve quilted wax jackets and body warmers for the gents, alongside our famous Gransmoor fleece at 2 for £35...
Not forgetting that all of our classic men's and ladies lines are available in junior sizes for the little 'uns too.”
Our stand has moved from the usual spot this time but you can’t miss our pink Rydale flags flying just across the main arena...
